Bricomarché is a DIY retail chain offering home and garden equipment. It belongs to the Musketeers Group, the largest European association of independent entrepreneurs. Bricomarché’s assortment consists of construction and finishing materials, including door joinery, furniture, lighting, decorations, and garden supplies, as well as pet products. The chain operates through more than 200 brick-and-mortar stores and an online shop.
The subject of the partnership with Occubee is the implementation of the Replenishment module to manage store inventory. It is intended to ensure proper stock availability by reducing overstocks and out-of-stocks, thereby enabling increased sales. A key benefit will be the automation of operational activities, which will free up the time of specialists responsible for replenishment.
Cooperation between the Bricomarché and Occubee teams began in January 2025 with the Proof of Value stage, which lasted several months. During this project phase, the focus was on a single, selected product category. The test involved eight significantly different stores for which the system generated product orders. This sample of product-location combinations from the full assortment and all Bricomarché stores allowed for the identification of specific operational challenges and demonstrated the capabilities provided by Occubee.
The Proof of Value stage was successful, and Bricomarché management decided to continue the partnership. In the next steps, the system will be rolled out to additional stores and product categories. Utilizing machine learning models and advanced algorithms, Occubee will generate sales and store demand forecasts.
