Since completing its investment round and joining the community built by Warsaw Equity Group, representatives of Occubee have regularly participated in events organized by the investor. This time, Kamil Folkert, CEO of Occubee S.A., took part in this year’s WEG Conference. The agenda included inspiring speeches, panel discussions, and workshops.
Kamil Folkert appeared on the main stage during the discussion titled “From the rocky road to the high-speed highway – the Leadership journey from Serial Entrepreneurs.” He was joined by Piotr Karwatka, Co-founder of Catch the Tornado, and Maciej Zawadziński, Partner at Hard2Beat. In the panel, moderated by Zosia Wanat, Senior Correspondent for Sifted in CEE, the entrepreneurs shared their experiences in building the skills of being a motivating leader. They talked about their ups and downs and the methods they used to tackle specific challenges.
As part of the conference, the WEG Awards were also presented to highlight the successes of entrepreneurs who made a significant impact on the WEG Community. Among the distinguished individuals was Kamil Folkert, who received the “Community Leadership Award.” The rationale for this award was as follows: “Through his continuous support of collaboration and knowledge exchange within the WEG community, Kamil has illuminated the path to collective success, demonstrating how cohesive networks drive innovation and contribute to organizational expansion.”
