The 16th edition of this event took place on April 15–16 in Warsaw, bringing together over 400 moderators, speakers, and panelists. The number of attendees exceeded 3,000. Representatives from Occubee also participated in the congress.
On the first day of the conference, Michał Koziara, Chief Operating Officer at Occubee S.A., moderated the debate titled “Adapting to the Rapidly Changing Expectations of Consumers.” The discussion focused on agile demand planning, flexible inventory management strategies, and the use of advanced technologies to dynamically respond to changes. The panel featured:
- Halina Małek, Supply Chain Planning Director at Auchan Retail Poland
- Marta Zarzeczna, Supply Chain Director Central Europe at Mars Wrigley
- Marcin Chabros, Finance Business Partner for Customer Supply Chain at Carlsberg Group
- Tomasz Wawszczyk, B2C Business Director at LG Electronics

Kamil Folkert, Chief Executive Officer at Occubee S.A., had the opportunity to premiere the results of our collaboration with Komfort Stores. On the Supply Chain Plenary Stage, he delivered a presentation in the form of a case study titled “Optimizing Store and Warehouse Stock: How Komfort Stores Freed Millions of Zlotys in Inventory with AI and Automation?”
He discussed, among other things:
- aligning inventory levels with actual demand, based on sales forecasts generated using machine learning models,
- optimal stock management across the entire retail network, based on advanced business strategies tailored to the home & decor industry,
- operational and business benefits from using AI and automation: improving product availability, shortening inventory turnover, freeing up working capital, and much more.

Once again, the Poland & CEE Retail Summit proved to be a great opportunity for many inspiring discussions on inventory management and more. We would like to thank the attendees who joined us in the Supply Chain room, as well as everyone we had the pleasure of meeting during the congress. See you next year!
