Ferax Sp. z o.o., the owner of Gatta, is a renowned manufacturer of hosiery and apparel in Poland. Since its establishment in 1993, the company has consistently expanded its product range, which now includes tights and stockings, classic and corset lingerie, swimwear, seamless and cut-and-sewn clothing, as well as sportswear and functional apparel.
The company operates through both B2B and B2C models, maintaining over a dozen patronage wholesalers and authorized distribution centers. It collaborates with major retail chains such as Biedronka, Rossmann, Kaufland, Lidl, and Dino. Gatta products are also available in 120 proprietary boutiques across Poland and through its e-commerce channel.
The objective of the collaboration between Ferax and Occubee is the optimization of store and warehouse replenishment. The focus will be on ensuring optimal product availability to reduce out-of-stock and overstock incidents while simultaneously increasing inventory turnover. This will enhance supply chain management efficiency and allow the company to better meet the needs of both individual and business customers.
The Replenishment module will be implemented first, enabling the system to generate sales forecasts, store demand plans, and warehouse orders. In the next phase of the partnership, the Demand Management module will be deployed. Its functionalities will allow for demand forecasting, automated calculation of warehouse requirements, and the generation of orders for suppliers.
Occubee’s Data Science team will develop proprietary machine learning models tailored to the Client’s specific needs. These models will be utilized for sales forecasting across various time horizons.
Once the system is properly parameterized, the results provided to the Client will automate numerous processes that previously required manual labor.
