Implementation of projects co-financed by European Funds
3Soft is carrying out a project titled “SupplAI system for automation and optimization of supply chain planning, using methods of computational intelligence – including sales forecasting – for online analysis of very large data sets, minimizing losses and maximizing operational efficiency of retail companies” under the Intelligent Development Operational Program (Sub-measure 1.1.1. Industrial research and development work conducted by enterprises).
The aim of the SupplAI project is to develop a system that automates and optimizes a group of business processes related to supply chain planning. The system is designed for large and medium-sized distribution networks that trade through multiple sales channels. These networks have a hierarchical structure of distribution points (distribution centers, warehouses, stores) and planning the flow and demand of goods at each distribution point of the network is one of the key tasks affecting the efficiency of the entire organization. The main focus of the system is on improving the efficiency of the processes: integration of sales channels (online and offline), business monitoring (KPI – Key Performance Indicators), strategic planning (ordering goods to warehouses based on demand and sales forecasts at all levels of the organization), forecasting returns of goods, monitoring and detecting global (i.e. concerning a group of points of sale, e.g. areas, but also market trends, e.g. product reviews) and local trends of sales changes.

3Soft S.A. has implemented a project co-financed by European Funds titled “Decision support and knowledge management system for the retail industry (DSS-RETAIL)”.
The result and goal of the project was to create a decision support and expertise management system for business processes implemented in the retail industry. The interface of these processes are sales forecasting models as key components that affect both the planning of goods distribution and the purchasing policy (quantity of goods, price, etc.) applied by retail companies.
